I got started training friends at university and then colleagues at Boss Models (NYC). I spent thousands of hours researching methods, testing protocols, and learning through doing. But I didn't get around to earning a formal certification as a personal trainer until 2008. Since then, here's the quick and dirty:

  • First client won her division in her first figure competition (you're still the prototype, Dana!)

  • Hundreds of clients from all walks of life followed, both in-person and online

  • Competed in bodybuilding, powerlifting, and adventure racing

  • Created and launched the Fit Dad Four, the first protocol to combine 30-minute training sessions, farm to table nutrition, cold-water therapy, and meditation

  • A week before I turned 40, my wife gave birth to twins and everything turned upside down, got waaaay harder

  • Joined Elemental Wellness Corporate to help grow and scale the corporate wellness division to have a greater impact in Los Angeles and beyond
